Iowa High School Baseball - George-Little Rock nips Westwood
July 6, 2024: George, IA 51237 The George-Little Rock Mustangs baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Westwood Rebels to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.
The Mustangs now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a non-league test on Tuesday, July 9. George-Little Rock will play a Warriors team coming off a 12-2 league win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 20-6.
With the defeat, Westwood drops to 5-16 on the year.
