July 6, 2024: Des Moines, IA 50316 The Des Moines East Scarlets (Des Moines, IA) softball routed the visiting Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA), 8-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Scarlets now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle for a non-league outing on Saturday, July 6. Des Moines East will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 29-8.
With the loss, Pleasantville moves to 16-14 on the season. The Trojans travel to Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, July 10. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Nodaway Valley won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against CAM (Anita, IA)
