Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pace Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 12. Pepperell will battle a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Model falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 2A Area 7 game on Thursday, August 11.
