The Mavericks now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor for a non-league test on Friday, August 11. McNeil will confront a Ducks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Ducks record now stands at 2-2.
