August 10, 2024: Kennesaw, GA 30152 Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), 6-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Harrison improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Hoyas host Osborne (Marietta, GA) to play the Cardinals in a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, August 13. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 1-0. Osborne won 19-5 in their recent non-league game against Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA)
The Hornets now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host King's Ridge Christian for a non-league game on Monday, August 12. Roswell will play a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
