August 10, 2024: Powder Springs, GA 30127 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) and the visiting Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA), observed Hillgrove's softball team get by Savannah Christian by a tally of 3-2.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Spartans go into the 6A Region 3 bout with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, August 13. Savannah Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Calvary Day (Savannah, GA).
