South Dakota High School Soccer - Lincoln knocks off Yankton
August 11, 2023: Yankton, SD 57078 Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a Class AA challenge, on Friday, August 18. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cobblers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).
The Bucks/Gazelles now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Harrisburg for a Class AA challenge on Tuesday, August 15. Yankton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 1-1 league Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 0-0.
