August 11, 2023: Paducah, KY 42001 Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 12. Paul Laurence Dunbar will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
The Mustangs now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tates Creek for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 12. McCracken County will confront a Commodores team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 1-0.
