The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) and the visiting Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX), saw Fort Bend Austin's volleyball squad beat Memorial by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Fort Bend Austin upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Paetow (Katy, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Paetow won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Klein Collins for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 12. Memorial will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Magnolia (Magnolia, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
