August 11, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78244 The Lake Belton Broncos topped the host Wagner Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Broncos now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. Lake Belton will confront a Billies team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Billies record now stands at 1-4.
The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots enter the 5A Region IV District 26 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Veterans Memorial was knocked off by Boerne (Boerne, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
