August 11, 2023: New Boston, TX 75570 The New Boston Lions held off the visiting Rusk Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyler for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. New Boston will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against West Rusk (New London, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
