With the win, Rains upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 12. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-1.
The Dragons now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Daingerfield for a non-league outing on Friday, August 11. Redwater will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
