Kentucky High School Soccer - Larue County toppled by Spencer County
August 11, 2025: Taylorsville, KY 40071 Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) fans were in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), 6-1 in a non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Bullitt Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 13. Spencer County will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Larue County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-1.
