The Mitchell Mountaineers volleyball squad (Bakersville, NC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

With the win, McDowell improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Titans travel to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 12. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Mountain Heritage lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Enka (Enka, NC)

The Mountaineers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Mitchell will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
