In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Pioneer Diamondbacks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sinton Pirates.

The Diamondbacks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Amarillo achieved victory over Palacios (Palacios, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
