In Saturday's non-league contest, the South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) volleyball squad edged the host Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 14. South Decatur will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

With the loss, Southwestern drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 12. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
