Kentucky High School Soccer - Calvary Christian knocks off Dayton
August 12, 2024: Dayton, KY 41074 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) and the host Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), saw Calvary Christian's soccer squad triumph over Dayton by a score of 9-1.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carroll County (Carrollton, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Carroll County was overwhelmed by Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Dayton moves to 0-1 on the year. The Greendevils host Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to encounter the Tigers in a District 36 challenge on Wednesday, August 14. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bellevue lost 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Ludlow (Ludlow, KY)
