August 12, 2024: Madisonville, KY 42431 Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Madisonville-North Hopkins moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Caldwell County (Princeton, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a District 7 test on Thursday, August 15. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Caldwell County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Webster County (Dixon, KY)
