The Monroe Redhawks volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

With the win, Corvian Community improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 15. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Northwest Cabarrus won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Redhawks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Academy for a Rocky River 2A/3A battle on Thursday, August 22.
