August 12, 2025: LaGrange, NC 28551 North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Lenoir improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. The Rams go into the test with a record of 1-0. Greene Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Craven for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 13. Kinston will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
