August 12, 2025: Abernathy, TX 79311 Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors (Lubbock, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kingdom Prep Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next, the Antelopes meet the Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Abernathy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Chieftans come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX).
