Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Seven Lakes gained a win over Memorial (Houston, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran South Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Porter will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
