Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers confront the South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 16. Simon Kenton will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Franklin County (Frankfort, KY).

The Colonels now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collins for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 18.
