The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) and the visiting Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), saw Heritage's softball squad nip Woodland by a count of 11-5.

The Generals now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 16. Heritage will face a Warriors squad coming off a 4-4 non-league Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
