In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Aledo Bearcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Plano East Panthers.

The Bearcats (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hereford (Hereford, TX). The Whitefaces come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Hereford achieved victory over Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
