Texas High School Volleyball - Kaufman edged by Johnson City
August 13, 2022: Johnson City, TX 78636 The Johnson City Eagles held off the visiting Kaufman Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wimberley for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 16. Johnson City will confront a Texans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Texans record now stands at 5-2.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their test against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Stallions enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, North Mesquite held off Kimball (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
