In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting New Washington Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Southwestern Rebels.

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
