Utah High School Soccer - Bountiful knocks off Salt Lake Academy
August 13, 2024: Bountiful, UT 84010 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Bountiful RedHawks soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Salt Lake Academy Griffins.
The RedHawks (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woods Cross (Woods Cross, UT). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region 5 outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Woods Cross was overwhelmed by Ogden (Ogden, UT), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Griffins confront the Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) in a 6A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, August 20. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Grizzlies go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
