August 13, 2024: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA), 20-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mt. Zion upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, August 15. The Indians enter the game with a record of 2-2. Chattooga won 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Darlington (Rome, GA)
The War Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Woodward Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, August 15. Landmark Christian will play a War Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
