August 13, 2025: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Storm (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Holly Springs lost by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 18. Athens Drive will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
