In Saturday's non-league contest, the University Trojans (Waco, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the host Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 16. University will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Rangers come into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bullard (Bullard, TX).
