The Wheeler Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Morgan Township Cherokees to 2 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Monday.

The Bearcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Judson-San Pierre for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 16. Wheeler will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North White (Monon, IN). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-1.

The Cherokees (1-1) will now prepare for their game against River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Ingots enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, River Forest held off Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
