August 14, 2023: Boonville, NC 27011 The Wilkes Central Eagles topped the host Starmount Rams volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 15. Wilkes Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Forbush gained a win over Elkin (Elkin, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
