Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Concord improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spiders host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Wonders now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Rowan for a non-league test on Thursday, August 15.
