Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Pines advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Jack Britt lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)

The Rams now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont for a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. Purnell Swett will face a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 0-1.
