El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), 12-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, El Toro advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, August 18. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 2-1. Villa Park lost 13-12 in their recent non-league match against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Warren Bears (Downey, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 18. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA).
