August 14, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30328 Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 16-4 in a non-league game.
With the win, Mount Vernon betters its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 20. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Dunwoody won 7-0 in their recent non-league battle against Chamblee (Chamblee, GA)
With the loss, Wesleyan moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wolves travel to Decatur (Decatur, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
