The Cox Mill Chargers soccer team (Concord, NC), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Thursday's non-league match with the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC)

With the triumph, Marvin Ridge moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Sabres in a non-league match on Monday, August 18.
