August 14, 2025: Blackwell, OK 74631 Muskogee Roughers (Muskogee, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), 5-2 in a non-league match.
The Roughers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Cushing (Cushing, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Cushing was routed by Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK), 4-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Maroons battle the Cushing Tigers (Cushing, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 15. Blackwell will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK).
