Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Flatonia Bulldogs (Flatonia, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The WILDCATS come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sotomayor was nudged by La Vernia (La Vernia, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Braunfels Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14.
