August 14, 2025: Mesquite, TX 75150 The Poteet Pirates topped the visiting Bridgeport Bulls volleyball squad by a tally of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Saginaw for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Poteet will play a Rough Riders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Bridgeport drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulls travel to Panther Creek (Frisco, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Panther Creek won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX)
