Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) and the host Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), observed Lamar's volleyball team top Cedar Creek by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Bulldawgs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Copperas Cove notched a victory over Thorndale (Thorndale, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
