The Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Porter Ridge will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 3-0.
