With the win, Lubbock-Cooper improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Azle (Azle, TX) to meet the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Azle lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Boswell (Fort Worth, TX)
