With the win, Forest improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bearcats host Raleigh (Raleigh, MS) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Monday, August 18. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 2-2.
The Chiefs now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLaurin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Pelahatchie will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Riverside (Avon, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
