August 14, 2025: Salado, TX 76571 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), observed Salado's volleyball team hold off Weatherford by a count of 2-1.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ellison was tipped by Glenn (Leander, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Kangaroos battle the St. Michael's Warriors (Austin, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 14. Weatherford will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hyde Park (Austin, TX).
