In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Cypress Lakes Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Alief Taylor Lions.

The Spartans (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Jersey Village defeated Waller (Waller, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
