August 15, 2023: Laurel, MS 39443 The Northeast Jones Tigers topped the host West Jones Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Northeast Jones will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The War Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Wayne County was knocked off by Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
