Kentucky High School Soccer - Larue County knocks off Grayson County
August 15, 2024: Leitchfield, KY 42754 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Larue County Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Grayson County Cougars.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Knights enter the District 18 outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Marion County tipped John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) in a District 11 outing, on Monday, August 19. Grayson County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Breckinridge County (Harned, KY).
