North Carolina High School Soccer - Sanderson knocks off Southeast Raleigh
August 15, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27609 The Sanderson Spartans soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league bout on Monday, August 19. Sanderson will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over South Garner (Garner, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Southeast Raleigh moves to 0-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host East Wake (Wendell, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, August 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2. East Wake lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)
